Client Challenge

A leading pharmaceutical company sought to develop a comprehensive understanding of the stakeholder landscape surrounding haematology. They needed to identify and organise key individuals with influence across multiple sectors to optimise their product distribution strategy.

The client required a cross-over analysis that merged three distinct datasets: Advocacy, Policy and Government (APG) stakeholders, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs). Our Approach

We conducted an extensive multi-parameter analysis to identify 48,417 stakeholders through KOL mapping across 13 different parameters, including governance roles within 200+ patient, professional and regulatory organisations. Our DOL mapping identified an additional 237 non-traditional stakeholders active in the digital space. We created in-depth profiles for key experts to provide the client with a complete picture of their most influential voices.

Our analysts then performed a sophisticated cross-over analysis, combining insights from the KOL, DOL, and APG datasets. This revealed collaboration patterns and influence networks within the life sciences community, highlighting both traditional thought leaders and alternative digital audiences who could amplify reach.

Key Outcomes

The deliverables provided not only a prioritised list of key individuals but also strategic context explaining each stakeholder's influential status, aligned with the client's objectives. The cross-over analysis revealed critical insights into individuals who could influence multiple parameters through a single engagement, significantly improving efficiency.
