More than just data, actionable insights
Our personalised mapping process utilises a bespoke, in-depth methodology to identify relevant individuals from a wealth of stakeholders. Our expert analysts will also segment and recommend individuals according to your strategic business plans.
What distinguishes a traditional KOL from a DOL?
A traditional KOL includes anyone holding a significant role, relevant to your strategy, whether a leading researcher, expert in regulatory affairs, pharmacist or even an emerging talent (a Rising Star) in the field. A KOL could come from both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds. We recognise that influence also lies beyond this traditional perspective too. A DOL could be a medical professional, a patient/patient group or a digital influencer. Establishing digital advocacy by connecting with DOLs will provide you with new opportunities to reach new audiences, communicate rapidly and segment messaging to unique audiences that KOLs may not reach.
Developing a full picture of your stakeholder network
Although KOL and DOL mapping are separate products, mapping them together is complementary, connecting you with unique audiences and creating a more comprehensive network of your stakeholder environment.
How do we find stakeholders?
With a project scope in mind, we will consider an abundance of precise mapping parameters including, but not limited to, publications, organisational roles, conference attendance and regulatory authorities. From here, we will check each individual to ensure they align with the aims and objectives of your project before profiling them.
Why is DOL Mapping beneficial?
By identifying influential DOLs, it enables more efficient communication and extends your outreach by rapidly distributing newly released data and breaking news to unique audiences. Whilst traditional KOL mapping is widely beneficial, it is important to stay informed of experts and advocates with digital audiences that can regularly impact the patient and professional landscape through their platforms. DOLs aren’t limited to digital influencers, our mapping captures conversations between healthcare professionals and researchers even before they reach traditional media.
