Client Challenge

A nutrition company sought to optimise their educational and engagement strategies across the US and Canadian markets. They needed to identify and visualise which key opinion leaders would be most beneficial to engage with to promote education around their products.

The client required a strategic approach to understand the nutrition landscape and determine which stakeholders had significant influence and would be willing to collaborate on increasing engagement opportunities.

Our Approach

We conducted bespoke KOL mapping research specifically tailored to the client's needs in the nutrition space. From a total of 13,379 individuals, we identified 1,182 relevant KOLs through comprehensive analysis. Our methodology included an in-depth scoring rationale applied to every KOL identified, focusing on influence levels and willingness to collaborate.

We created detailed profiles for the most critical KOLs, including actionable recommendations for engagement. A key element of our research involved identifying rising stars who are increasing in influence but not yet established as top authorities. These profiles facilitated strategic planning on how to approach and engage each KOL to maximise mutual benefit.

Key Outcomes

The client successfully optimized their engagement opportunities with key stakeholders in the nutrition field. By engaging with identified rising stars, they established trusted relationships early in these KOLs' career trajectories, creating opportunities for mutual growth and enhanced visibility.

The mapping enabled the client to raise awareness around product usage and direct their business strategy effectively, ensuring resources were focused on the most impactful relationships in the nutrition landscape.
